While Walking

The girls and I have been starting our days with a walk. So far we’ve been concentrating our walks in the alleyways near our home, hidden byways made beautiful by tall trees, hibiscus bushes and wildflowers, squirrels, woodpeckers and butterflies. Here is a glimpse of what we’ve been seeing:

I'm a stay-at-home homebirthing, VBACing, breastfeeding mama, advocate and sometimes artist, sometimes web designer. We are located on the East Coast (but long for the West Coast) where we try to live simply, playing with natural toys, eating organic, vegetarian foods and using our imaginations and creativity as much as possible. I knit and I'm in the process of learning to sew so I can make (or at least attempt to make) many of the items we need and use and want to surround us.

  1. Delightful blog, I love all things natural and simple. I wish that we (society) could get back to living a more modest life. I look forward to following your site. Have a wonderful day, Allie.
